Magaro graduates from Naval Academy

Colin Magaro successfully completed four years of challenging academic, physical, and professional military training, graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy on May 27 with a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering and a commission as a U.S. Navy Ensign.

At the academy, Magaro was Battalion Commander in charge of roughly 800 midshipmen.

Following graduation, Ensign Magaro will report to Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center in Panama City Beach, Fla. for six months of Navy dive school. Upon completion of dive school, he will proceed to Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal at Eglin Air Force Base in Destin, Fla.
